My name is Abby Joye Glover. I'm a mom, who loves being home with her kiddos. I'm also a designer who loves fine tuning all the little details. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has given me a true appreciation for the natural world. Imitating what I see in nature, in both hand sketching and watercolor painting, has become a way to reconnect to the beauty that is around us everyday. Surface Pattern design has opened up a whole new world of possibilities and I'm excited to see where it leads next.

I'm the wife to the most talented, and big hearted guy on earth. We have two kids who are amazing and absolutely the best adventures yet. We love being outdoors as much as possible.

From Interior Design to Surface Patterns

After studying Interior Design at OSU, I worked for many years with an amazing team at Carol Williamson and Associates. The friendships formed and projects completed during those years have helped shape my own design process and I'm so thankful for all of those experiences. Realizing how much I'd missed the process of creating my own art, I started to paint and sketch again. Not long after, I discovered the world of surface pattern design and I knew I'd found a way to bring both design and a renewed love for art together. It really is the best of both worlds and so much fun.
